VINTAGE CONDITION
•
Excellent
•
There is one very small hole (1/2 centimeter diameter) on the inside lining of one of the pant legs
•
There is very slight discoloration towards the bottom of the lining of the pant legs
•
The feathers at the chest are a little loose, I would take care and protective measures while wearing and would even consider professionally adding more feathers to the front. But that's just what I would do if I owned the dress. It looks absolutely fine as it is!
•
There is a pin sized hole/spot on the back towards the top of the zipper
•
I see very faint snag line on the backside bottom of the zipper.

- Buying Vintage -
Vintage clothing in most cases has been worn previously which means small defects may be present such as loose threads & buttons, slight fading, missing sequins & beads, slight pilling on knits, mild leather scuffing, and other signs of age. As long as the wearability of the garment is not effected, these are not considered flaws. Each item is inspected thoroughly before it leaves my shop. Any outstanding damage will be photographed & described in detail in the item description.
Because sizes have varied so drastically over the decades please be sure to read the measurements carefully, do not assume something will fit based on the size listed alone. "Size Estimate" is just that, an estimate. We estimate a size closest to what we feel would fit in modern sizes. The best way to know if something will fit you is to measure a garment that you already have that fits you perfectly and match it to our measurements.
All of our measurements are taken in inches. The bust, waist & hips are measured laying flat then doubled. The sleeve is measured from the shoulder seem to the wrist (unless otherwise stated) the length is measured from the top of the shoulder to the very bottom of the garment. Sometimes we need to pin an item onto the model when it is too large to show the correct fit. When this occurs it will be stated in the item description.
If you feel that you have received an item that does not accurately match its description, please promptly let us know and we will do what we can to make your transaction an enjoyable experience.
We recommend our customers professionally dry clean (or hand wash in some cases) vintage garments before use.
