50s VTG Novelty Print BUTTERFLY Swimsuit Playsuit Romper Bathing Suit Bombshell

Vintage 50s butterfly print swimsuit romper with 3-D butterfly adornments on the shoulder and backside. Thatch basket weave background print. No tags or markings. Feels like cotton or blend. Nice size. Very stretchy. The front is lined. The straps and back panel is all stretchy elastic-y. I would not consider the elastic stretched out but I do not feel it fits super snugly either. It’s not droopy but it’s not real tight like a swimsuit. No zippers, just step in.
Pre owned, shows light general wear. Overall very nice wearable condition with some flaws. Small pinhole on belly area. Faint age discoloration on bust. The lining does have faint age discoloration in areas including the undercarriage. See pics. Has been recently cleaned with scent free organic detergent and steamed. There are some loose threads and elastic bits in areas but nothing major going on that is obvious. Minor seam separation at the bottom but don’t necessarily need to fix to wear. It’s not perfect but it’s very nice with plenty life left and super cute looking.
Shown on women’s size small mannequin. You can see it is too big, sits low and seems long. I assume this would fit best on a modern M/L but please see measurements below.
