1960s vtg Silver Black wide leg sleeveless Palazzo Pant Jumpsuit Mesh Midriff S

Fresh from the 1960s comes this amazing vintage palazzo pant one-piece jumpsuit, made from shimmery silver & black metallic fabric with a peek-a-boo mesh midriff ♡
The bodice is made from a light silver plissé fabric, lined in white satin acetate and beautifully fitted in a sleeveless mockneck style. The attached palazzo pants are voluminous and flowy, made from a silver & black metallic plissé that's somewhat sheer when held to the light. Other details include a metal zipper back closure and a banded waistline made from silver fishnet mesh trimmed with little jewels and silver cord trim and lined in sheer black tulle for added structure and support.

no label or tags; fits like a modern size XS - S. Actual measurements laid flat are:
shoulders: 13.75"
chest: 34"
waist: 26"
hips: open up to 44"
bodice length: 11" from top of shoulder to top waistband; 15" length from top of shoulder to lower waistband
pants: 40" length; each pant leg measures 23" wide at lower hem
overall length: 55.5" measured center back from top of collar to bottom hem
c o n d i t i o n
it's in very good condition with minimal signs of wear including a stitched seam repair near the zipper and some little marks on the inside lining of the bodice, none of which can be seen from the outside. There are no underarm stains and no bad odors. The pants have a few snags but nothing really noticeable except for on the left leg near the inner thigh, shown in the photos, where you can see two horizontal black lines where the silver threads got snagged. In the last photo, you can also see some fuzziness / thread wear near the back zipper and a small section on the zipper facing where the zipper kept catching on the fabric, but this has now been trimmed away to allow the zipper to work smoothly (and it also isn't noticeable unless you look under the zipper facing, so it wouldn't be seen while worn). The collar is a bit smushed down but could be steamed up straight if desired, and in the photos it was missing the loop for the hook and eye closure at the back of the neck, but I've now added a new (vintage) one there, so it will come to you clean and ready to wear ♡
